We are Closing
It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to stop developing the label OLVE + BLUE.
This decision was not taken lightly, but the competition out there is rough and the lack of stability adds a lot of stress that had taken a toll on my body.
I am grateful for the people I have met on this journey that have encouraged me and made me feel seen.
I am grateful to my husband for being by my side every step and letting me thrive in uncertain waters while he supported us.
I will keep fighting against fast fashion and plastic fabrics that are destroying our health and planet, even though it seems like my voice is insignificant. I will keep on being an advocate for linen and wool farmers that are respectful and fight to survive in an industry that is extremely competitive.
I don't know what comes next: I guess a "normal" job and figuring out how I fit in the business world outside of my label. I am sad, but also hopeful for a new challenge and falling in love with being creative for myself once more.
If you have had your eye on a design for a while, but have not hit the trigger, I have rolls of linen that can still be put to good use. So you can order anything from the shop for 1week before I officially close.
